A very successful air pistol match for Under 21’s was held over this weekend in W’town. This Junior 30shot match incorporated The School’s Cup Match.
26 competitors took part and represented 19 secondary and primary schools. There were 7 prizes awarded to students from schools Greenhills Drogheda, St. Mary’s New Ross, Eureka Kells, Dunshaughlin Community College, Mountsackville, Mercy Ballymahon, St Peters Dunboyne.
Other schools represented included ones from Derry, Trim, Bray, Virginia, Donabate, Coole, and Crescent College Comprehensive.
Ruby Collins wins with a score of 273 ex 300, Silver to Molly Hennessy Murphy 258 and Bronze to Emma Quinlan.
We are well pleased with excellent standard or shooting. We are delighted to see a number of young shooters starting off. We welcome them and wish them well on their shooting journey.
