We believe Target Shooting is a sport for all and can be a great sport for younger people to get involved in. There are age restrictions for the use of firearms in Ireland which can limit this involvement. Our club has a sophisticated set of laser target shooting equipment that has been developed for beginners and youth shooting and lets us introduce the sport to anyone who wants to try it out.
This equipment has been developed by the same manufacturers that engineer precision target shooting equipment used at Olympic level. This is a great way for younger persons to try out the sport as the equipment is not age restricted and developed to be lighter so it is more manageable at younger ages. The targets and scoring are fully representative of Olympic standard shooting meaning you get to properly experience the sport before being ready to move onto live firing.
The equipment is all portable with just a power source needed. If you want a demonstration in your own venue, get in touch and we can try to arrange this. Otherwise if you want to have a go as an individual or group, we are more than happy to accommodate and we can work out a day and time that suits.
This system has been especially popular with secondary school students wanting to try a new sport, and also as team building group activities for local sports groups. We’re happy to host sessions just for the experience or for those who want to get more seriously involved in target shooting.
